Carhartt Work In Progress (Carhartt WIP) was founded in 1994 by Edwin Faeh and is a modern evolution of the traditional workwear brand Carhartt. While Carhartt is known for durable work clothing, Carhartt WIP adapts these classics and combines them with influences from various subcultures. 
Since the opening of the first store in 1997 in London, Carhartt WIP has established itself worldwide and now operates over 80 stores. With its own skateboard team, a music department, and the support of numerous artists, the brand shows its close connection to the creative scene. Regular collaborations with other brands and artists like A.P.C., Nike, and Motown underscore this creative openness and enthusiasm for innovation.

Regarding animal products, Carhartt WIP also sets an example: no real fur, mohair, or angora is used, and for wool, it is ensured that it either meets the Responsible Wool Standard or is replaced by animal-free alternatives.
