FAGUO AT BACKYARD

Our Faguo range at BACKYARD focuses on men's tops, including T-shirts, sweatshirts, shirts, overshirts, summer jackets, and fleece jackets, as well as belts. The items from Faguo combine a casual look with high comfort and are characterized by subtle color tones. 80% of Faguo clothing is made from recycled materials to drastically reduce their carbon footprint. The Faguo products at BACKYARD are predominantly made from cotton.
Often, there is a demand for a 100% "Made in France" production at Faguo. However, this discussion is often misunderstood. For Faguo, it is not the place of production but the manner of production and the entire supply chain that is crucial. The company follows an international model to minimize CO2 emissions. It draws on expertise and materials from various countries such as Vietnam, Morocco, China, and Portugal. Some production also takes place in France, but this is only one component of the entire production process.

TRANSPARENCY REDEFINED

At BACKYARD, we rely on brands that truly live sustainability – like Faguo. As the first brand, Faguo displays the carbon footprint of each product directly on the label. This transparent approach allows you to check the carbon impact of your clothing by simply scanning a QR code. This way, you can precisely understand how your purchase contributes to climate change while also understanding how Faguo is committed to environmental protection.
In addition, Faguo plants a tree for every piece of clothing produced to offset the remaining CO2 emissions and make a positive contribution to climate protection. In 2020, the 300 Faguo forests and 2 million trees in France absorbed an impressive 16,440 tons of CO2, which is six times the company's emissions in the same year. 
Faguo also focuses on sustainable corporate management. With the B Corp™ certification, Faguo guarantees social and ecological standards and high transparency.
