Inspired by the differences between the idyllic Danish coastal culture and modern life in urban areas, Lakor's style forms a contrasting clash that attempts to place nostalgia in a modern context. Their mission is to connect these two extremes and make coastal culture street-ready.
The journey of Lakor begins with the creative spirit of Lasse Kornum, whose surf-inspired doodles formed the basis for the first collections. As then, creativity, responsibility, and a spirit of discovery – the "three-masters" of the brand – remain at the heart of every design today.

LAKOR AT BACKYARD

At BACKYARD, we offer you a well-sorted selection of men's fashion from Lakor, which impresses with its unique mix of Nordic coastal culture and urban style. 
The range, consisting of chino pants, shirts, overshirts, and T-shirts as well as beanies, is characterized by high-quality and well-combinable products that accompany your everyday life. The selection is complemented by handmade mugs with printed graphics.
The coastal-inspired color palette ranges from black, gray, and brown to blue and green. Lakor offers both solid-colored classics and checkered patterns and creative prints.
Almost all items are made from high-quality organic cotton, which is both durable and environmentally friendly. The Lakor products are produced in Turkey, Portugal, and occasionally in China, with Lakor ensuring fair working conditions and high-quality standards.

Since 2021, Lakor has been working with Veritree and plants a mangrove tree for every piece of clothing sold, with over 300,000 trees already planted. Mangrove trees promote biodiversity and protect against natural disasters while binding more CO2 than tropical rainforests.
