Homecore was founded in 1992 in Paris by Alexandre Guarneri and his friend Steph Cop and is considered France's first true hip-hop brand. More than 30 years after its founding, the mission remains the same: "Peace, Love, Unity, and Having Fun" – values deeply rooted in the hip-hop movement. Homecore is much more than fashion; it is an expression of a lifestyle that aims to harmonize body, mind, and environment. Color, shape, and material are positioned in a constantly flowing dance around nature, creating a balance between urban rhythm and organic harmony.

PHILOSOPHY – CONNECTION OF BODY AND MIND

Homecore understands fashion as a reflection of inner attitude. Clothing is not seen as a mere shell but as a means of self-discovery. At the center is Gumjo, a practice of breathing, movement, and meditation that brings the body into harmony with the environment. Every detail – be it the red line along the spine, the leather band at the body's center of gravity, or the visible seam on the shoulder blade – is an expression of this inner mindfulness. At Backyard, you will find selected items from the Homecore brand – currently sweatshirts and wool socks, made in Portugal. The sweatshirts are available in sizes S to XXL, the wool socks in sizes 37–40, 39-42, and 43–46. The collection ranges in color from classic black and anthracite to vibrant tones like pink, purple, or green – perfect for a conscious, individual style.
