ALTERNATIVE CARRY BAGS SINCE 2012 

Notabag was founded in 2012 in a small apartment in Frankfurt and was created as a solution to an everyday problem: carry bags and bicycle bags simply do not get along. Therefore, Notabag designed a clever bag that transforms into a backpack with a light pull on the straps.
The label aims to develop high-quality products that make everyday life easier and at the same time have a positive impact on the environment.
As a young brand, Notabag is driven by the idea that functional products improve our lives. The brand was developed from the beginning to reduce waste by offering an alternative to lightweight plastic bags.

NOTABAG AT BACKYARD

At BACKYARD, we offer you the Notabag Original, a hybrid solution of a carry bag and backpack. A pull on the straps is enough to comfortably carry the bag on your back and have your hands free. In the inner compartment, wallets, keys, and other valuables can be easily stored. This hand-sized storage space also serves to make the entire bag disappear if it is not needed.
Our Notabag range is complemented by the Notabag-Crossbody, a minimalist, innovative accessory that can be worn over the shoulder, across the body, in the hand, or around the waist.
The bags from Notabag impress with their simple and intuitive design and are available in solid colors and with patterns. All items are made in South China ‒ in small family-run workshops ‒ handcrafted and composed of 63% cotton and 37% ripstop nylon.  The cotton gives the fabric a soft, noiseless feel, making it comfortable to wear, while the nylon makes it durable for continuous reuse.

NOTABAGS VISION

Notabag has pursued a clear vision since its founding: to reduce waste and create sustainable alternatives for everyday life. This vision was further strengthened just one year after its founding by the first EU proposal to reduce plastic bags. The brand places great emphasis on transparency in its production process and guarantees through long-term partnerships that ethical working conditions, fair wages, and just working hours are maintained.
To further minimize waste, the Notabag original bags are made from a single piece of material. This allows for almost complete quality control and reduces waste from defective models. The material used is specially manufactured for Notabag and tested for harmful chemicals to meet the REACH standard.
